This bibliographical work initiated by scholars from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) provides a comprehensive survey of lexicographical materials of the three language groups. Besides dictionaries, also glossaries, and vocabularies were included. The classification follows the pattern: monolingual, bilingual, polyglot, and lists terminological dictionaries by subject. Entries are annotated and easily accessible by indices to personal names and titles. Items were inspected whenever possible, and Chinese and Japanese characters included. More than 800 publications are listed.
